First Wednesday and Third Friday morning of each month by appointment (doctor, diabetic nurse, podiatrist, dietician).

CORONARY HEART DISEASE (CHD)

Second and Fourth Thursday morning of each month by appointment.

MATERNITY

Booking-in clinic - Monday 2.00pm by appointment.

Antenatal clinic - Friday 2.00pm by appointment.

These clinics are led by team midwives. A doctor is also available for consultation.

CERVICAL SMEAR CLINIC

Thursday 2.15pm - 3.00pm by appointment.

Seasonal.

TRAVEL CLINIC

Located on Level 2, the travel clinic can be contacted by telephoning 9250 1281 (between 11.30am and 2.30pm).

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.  There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.  These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Most travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS and therefore is a chargeable service.

Non-NHS Services

Certain services provided by your doctor are not covered by the N.H.S and you may be asked to pay a fee e.g. signing Passport applications, Private Medical Certificates, Insurance Claim forms etc. Our receptionist can advise about the various fees.

SICKNESS CERTIFICATES

If you are absent from work due to illness for a period of up to six days, and your employer requires a certificate, you should complete a self-certifying form (available at reception). If you are ill for more than six days, you must see your doctor to obtain a medical certificate.

Test Results

The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection.

We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
